Dorothy is also a painter and has painted several pictures that hang in the homes of upscale people. She loves to scrapbook, sew, cook, and writes in her spare time. Dorothy resides in Southern California, and she is married with two sons and a daughter, two daughters-in-law, five beautiful grandsons (one is in heaven), one granddaughter, four great-grandsons, and two great-granddaughters. Dorothy L. Sannes has always had a love for books since she was a child. The love of books gave her the desire to write, starting with poetry. She has written a book of heartfelt poems called Gentle Moments, notes from the Lord. One of her poems “Renewed Assurance” has been published in Sunrise and Soft Mist, a large book of poetry.
